What the Forum Is

The Foundation Client Forum is designed for you to network with other users, discuss industry tips and share practical experiences as an online community. It’s meant to be helpful, and it’s meant to be fun!

What the Forum Isn’t

The client forum isn’t a place to go to for product or service support. The forums aren’t staffed by Foundation Software support representatives, and we don’t endorse any advice given on the forum. For any help with software issues, official best practices and troubleshooting, you should still log a support call through your Foundation® application, our client website or (800) 811-5926.

General Behavior on the Forum

We want you to enjoy a positive, welcoming atmosphere on the forum at all times. And you play a part! There are several ways you can help us accomplish this:

  • Please keep your behavior and language professional, which includes refraining from profane, obscene, threatening or violent language. Remember: text on a computer screen lacks tone of voice, body language and sometimes context — the stuff that helps us take your meaning and know when someone’s joking, so it’s always best to play it safe and keep it clean.
  • Please be nice, and when you have the opportunity, even be encouraging! Harassment, taunts and personal attacks on forum members or our staff isn’t acceptable. Before you post, it’s always a good practice to ask, “How might someone who’s having a bad day read this?”
  • Please be thoughtful and inclusive. Racial, ethnic and gender-based insults or any other personally discriminatory language have no place on the forum we all share.

We reserve the right to request offensive posts be altered or removed — or to alter or remove them directly — for any reason in the interest of the forum community and the Foundation Software brand.

Topics

It’s helpful to try to keep conversations relevant to the original post, so if you need to spin off onto another topic, please feel free to do so! They don’t have to be about Foundation Software, our products or our services, but they should stay relevant to the industry in some way. Off-topic conversations should occur in the “General Discussions” forum.

Privacy

The full name and email address you register with are viewable only to the forum staff at Foundation Software. Other users will be able to see the display name you create, which appears on anything you post. Use discretion when creating your display name and setting up your user profile before making any personally identifiable information public to other users.

Recruiting

To protect the interests of all our clients, we ask that you don’t post job openings, attempt to recruit any other users through the forum, or use the forum to offer or advertise your professional services. We reserve the right to remove these posts.

Use Caution and Good Judgement

Foundation Software doesn’t vouch for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of content posted by other users. We don’t endorse in any way any content posted to the forum. Please use caution and good judgment before deciding to act upon information found here.

Pictures

A picture is worth a thousand words, so please feel welcome to share your photos! Just make sure they’re not explicit, offensive or restricted by copyright.

Links

We all like to pass along a good story or share an insightful article. In a case like this, please share a link to original content rather than copying and pasting it into a post — unless you’re either the copyright holder or have permission from the rights holder.

Revoking Access to the Forum

This site is intended for enjoyment by active Foundation Software clients in good standing with the forum. If your company ceases to be a client with Foundation, or if you leave your employment with a Foundation-client company, we may revoke your access. It’s not personal, and we’d miss you!

We may issue private warnings about any violation of our guidelines and expectations or terms of use. We’ll always want to try to correct any problems or misunderstandings in good faith. In the case of repeat or other imminent issues, however, we do reserve the right to revoke forum access at any time in the interest of preserving free enjoyment of this forum for all its users.
